Colt is drawn to Finn’s confident, witty, and carefree manner in a way he doesn’t fully understand, and after hearing Colt’s spellbinding voice, Finn becomes openly infatuated.

A spontaneous road trip forces both boys out of their comfort zones. Finn steps away from the drag show scene and show jumping arena and into the wilderness, where he tries not to fall in love with the seemingly straight—but ridiculously charming—outdoorsman. Colt, who sings about love but feels deadened to it, has to confront feelings that his heart embraces but his mind struggles to trust. 

Heartfelt conversations and friendly competitions create an undeniable bond between the two. But when Finn’s impulsive dance to one of Colt’s songs goes viral, Colt’s agent, who is openly homophobic and obsessed with marketability, puts their newfound friendship at risk. Colt must choose between his burgeoning career and making things right with his captivating new friend.
